Si tu savais

The story of this EP began with a close friendship with singer-songwriter Zacharie Defaut

Sharing a passion for the guitar since their teenage years. They met in July 2010 at LMFL's jazz music program at Clifton College, Bristol. It was through this complicity that Zacharie was able to understand Nico's influences and artistic direction, as he produced the EP with his own Hook Sound Records label.

Nico Habre & Zacharie Defaut

Accompanied by four musician friends: Zacharie Defaut, guitar, Elisée Defaut, soprano saxophone, Edward Rogers, piano & Kevin Lika, drums, the Si tu savais EP project offers a true fusion of blues, rock & pop genres.

Through this EP, Nico aims to touch anyone sensitive to the rich organic sounds of real instruments, communicating a tribute to the history of rock but keeping an innovative idea in recording and mixing techniques. Nico Habre and his friends are striving to bring their music to an international audience, in the hope of reaching out to all music lovers and aficionados.

With its symphony and lyrics, the first song on the EP symbolizes Nico's openness and desire to travel with music.

The second song on her EP, La pianiste argentine, uses the same idea to tell her audience a story.

The EP also showcases the talent of his musician friends on the songs Mes bars and La Guinguette, where Nico simply wants to convey the groove, which he feels is very little exploited in French music.

The final song, Si tu savais, which gives the EP its name, features a melodious bridge (intended as an interlude) and an outro that sets a progressive tone for the track, accompanying Nico and his friends' dream of sharing their music.
